Update 5:20 p.m. – City of Kenmore Closes Emergency Operations Center

Kenmore, Wash. – The City of Kenmore Emergency Operations Center is now closed. Staff will be accepting phone calls in regards to flooding issues at 425-398-8900 during business hours; 206-296-8100 after-hours.

The following road closures remain in effect:

• ·        60th Ave NE between NE 198th Place and NE 200th Court (one lane open)
• ·        NE 163rd Street between 74th Ave NE and 76th Ave NE
• ·        NE 170th Street between 68th Ave NE and 7400 block

Sand Bags:

Sand and bags are available for Kenmore residents at the Kenmore Park & Ride located at 18201 68th Ave NE. Residents are encouraged to store sand bags in case of future events.

It is unknown how long these closures will remain in effect at this time and City of Kenmore urges citizens to use alternative routes in these conditions. Updates will be provided as available.
