Kenmore City Hall Request for Qualifications

Kenmore, Wash. – The City of Kenmore is seeking a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for architecture-engineering-project management services for development of site plans, building plans, public involvement process, acquisition of required City permits, submittal of bid-ready plans, and specifications for construction of a new approximately 22,000 gross sq. ft. city hall facility. Construction/project management services also requested.  Anticipated date for occupancy of a new City Hall is July 1, 2009.

The City Hall facilities will be located on a site being purchased by the City located at 18120 68th Ave NE, Kenmore. Property fronts on 68th Ave NE on the western property boundary, on NE 182nd Street at the northern boundary and NE 181st Street at the southern boundary.

Qualified applicants/teams must have significant experience and expertise in developing similar civic projects, prior success in the development and design process, and procuring and managing design and construction. Applicants/teams must demonstrate the ability to develop an appropriate public involvement program.

The pre-submittal conference is scheduled for June 19, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. at Kenmore City Hall, 6700 NE 181st Street, Kenmore. The submittal of statement of qualifications is due July 3, 2007 at Kenmore City Hall.
