Spring Recycling Event

The City is sponsoring a spring recycling event for Kenmore residents. Citizen Academy

The Kenmore Police Department invites you to this year’s “Citizen’s Academy”. This program is designed to increase the understanding between citizens and Law Enforcement.  It is our hope that by the completion of the Academy (10 weeks), citizens will gain a better understanding of the police, the criminal justice system and the challenges facing law enforcement in today’s society. The Kenmore Police Department will be barbequing hamburgers and hotdogs for our citizens. Information will be available on block watches, house checks, personal safety, fingerprinting and ID cards for kids, bicycle registration cards and home fire prevention. FREE!

Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony

HO! HO! HO! Sleigh your way to the annual Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony. Enjoy the beautiful voices of our local choirs while having your child’s photo taken with Santa Claus, making your favorite holiday arts & crafts project and enjoying cookies with a hot beverage. Help count down the lighting of the tree with Santa Claus at 6:05 p.m. FREE!


Kenmore Local Armed Forces Photographic Display

In recognition of local armed forces personnel, the Kenmore City Council encourages Kenmore citizens with family members serving in any branch of the military to bring a framed photograph to be displayed at City Hall. If you have any questions, please call City Hall at (425) 398-8900.


Calling All Salmon Watchers

Salmon Watchers spend 15 minutes twice a week during the fall observing a stream in some idyllic spot in western King County, counting the returning salmon. The data are collected and used by agencies and groups to help restore endangered salmon runs and improve habitat for all salmon. Get the Details
