The history of the Kenmore Air Harbor and Kenmore Air, the adventures of the early-day pilots, and how seaplanes became iconic symbols of Kenmore will be explored when the Kenmore Heritage Society hosts an evening program with C. Martin Faure, author of the history book “Success on the Step: Flying with Kenmore Air.” The event is free. All are welcome.

If you enjoy exploring the natural outdoors, we invite you to participate in the City’s free nature walks this summer! On the second Monday of each month, May through October, the City of Kenmore’s volunteer leader Linda Phillips is offering guided tours of Wallace Swamp Creek Park, with the first tour starting Monday, April 9.

The nature walk will be approximately one-and-a-half to two hours and will explore two miles of paved and primitive trails through the 25 acres of the park. Leader Linda Phillips will focus on the plants and animals found in the park.

For the third year in a row, the Kenmore Community Club is inviting Kenmore families to bring the kids to join our June potluck for free pony rides provided by Seattle Pony Party. While the kids enjoy the free pony rides join in our monthly potluck and meet your neighbors and learn about our social club. The pony rides are free, but we'll pass around a coffee can to anyone who wishes to donate "whatever you think it's worth." Pass this along and share with your Facebook friends too.
