About the project:

The City of Kenmore purchased this residential property in 2014 and it included an old floating dock with a makeshift ramp. In spite of its condition, the public immediately put it to use as a great place to launch hand-powered kayaks and paddle boards. This project replaced the float and paved the gravel access path and accessible parking stall. For more information about the float project, visit

As one of the three waterfront access projects included in the voter-approved Walkways and Waterways Initiative, Squire’s Landing Park will be improving greatly in the near future. Eleven acres of Squire’s Landing will receive water access improvements featuring elevated walkways, trails, viewpoints, docks, ramps, parking and more.
