Tuesday, August 6th
6:00 – 8:30 p.m.
Kenmore City Hall

National Night Out is a combined effort by neighborhoods across the country to prevent crime and drugs in our communities and is always the first Tuesday in August.

Interested in boosting crime watch with neighbors? This is also the perfect night to plan a block party or potluck on your street, or just simply walk over and talk to your neighbors. The best way to build a safer community is to know your neighbors and your surroundings!

Introduce yourself and if comfortable, exchange phone numbers. Let neighbors know when you will be out of town and what type of things you can help each other with
Talk about how you can look out for each other and report suspicious behavior to police
Remind each other to always close garage doors and lock apartment doors. Remove everything from your car, then lock it up!
Encourage everyone on your street to have a secure locking mailbox and share information on vendors or contractors to install one

Thanks for doing your part to make Kenmore more safe!
