Bastyr University proposes to adopt and implement a Master Plan for facilities and improvements on its campus that supports the University's vision for growth over the next 20 years. An Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) has been prepared under the direction of the City of Kenmore to analyze the potential impacts of the implementation of the Master Plan and Master Plan alternatives, and to identify migration measures. The Final EIS was issued by the City of Kenmore on December 1, 2004. The Master Plan will require City Council action. Three ordinances are required, to amend the City's Comprehensive plan, the zoning code, and establish a Planned Action. A resolution is also required for execution of a Development Agreement with Bastyr University. The action items are currently scheduled on the City Council's 7/25/05 Council meeting agenda.
